Lubna Keawpanna

Creative Director

Lubna is a former design lecturer and  a senior art director at top international advertising agency McCann Erickson. A Masters graduate from the University of the Arts, she brings with her eight years of experience in the design and advertising industry at the highest level. Having worked for top brands like, Mini Cooper, Nestle and Marriot Hotel amongst others, Lubna saw a niche in the market for intelligent yet beautiful design, leading to the creation of Neon Niche. Her love for colour and modern interpretation, the fusion of cultures and her curiosity, help her develop innovative design solutions. Every project is an exciting challenge; Lubna brings together individuals with diverse creative backgrounds for Neon Niche projects, so they complement each others’ style to bring an unrivalled design service.

As well as being the Art Director for The Kensington and Chelsea Notebook and Dubai’s, Boutique 1 magazine, she has designed and photographed three published books. Lubna’s photography and design work has been exhibited in Europe and Asia.

I love chocolate, flowering tea, angry birds, Google, my iPad, travelling, photography, design, colour, Barcelona, bling and of course my friends, family and hubby!

When I was younger I wanted to be an airhostess and fly through
the skies.

Jessica Lau

Creative Designer

Jessica is a graduate from Ravensbourne College of Design and Communication with a degree in Fashion Promotion. She has worked as a personal stylist and acquired experience at online fashion broadcast website, SHOWstudio. The knowledge that Jessica gained from her Fashion Promotion degree kindled her interest in InDesign, typography and print design. She transferred these skills into graphic design, which allowed her to successfully take on various freelance opportunities in design and illustration. Jessica is now a valued member of the design team at Neon Niche. Her quirky fashion sense and passion for all things on-trend brings a refreshing twist to an ever changing industry. She is also the talent behind one of our favourite blogs, An Interesting Blog About Boring People.

I love Stationery, Pantones, Ribena, Hong Kong, Chinese food, My Neighbour Totoro, 35mm film photography, Muji, InDesign, Middlesbrough.

When I was younger I wanted to be a post office clerk so I could play with all the stamps.

Stephanie Gunn

Illustrator

Stephanie graduated from the University of Hertfordshire with a BA Honours degree in Graphic Design and Illustration. Having completed her degree, she was free to fulfill her dream to travel and experience cultures throughout South East Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and America. Since her return, Stephanie has broadened her professional design experience creating wonderful illustrations and design work for lifestyle clients like music band, Borderline:FIRE as well as corporate clients. A master with a drawing pen (and paint brush) Stephanie draws inspiration from her travels as well as everyday life bringing beautiful narratives into her work. Stephanie has been illustrating for The Notebook magazine since August 2010 and has also contributed to Boutique 1 magazine. Alongside producing illustrations for these publications, she is involved with the layouts and design.

I love illustration, design, photography, travelling, scuba diving, swimming, shopping, pub lunches, picnics, pimms, curry, meeting new people, my family, friends and boyfriend.

When I was younger I wanted to be a double decker bus driver (when I was little)
